The Child Welfare Peer Kinship Network is a practical resource to help state and local public child welfare agencies explore best practices in kinship care, so children who are involved in the child welfare system can stay connected to kin.  The Network has an interactive listserv and  conducts resource sharing webinars.  This network  is funded by the Annie E. Casey Foundation and managed by staff at ChildFocus.

What's the purpose of the Child Welfare Peer Kinship Network?

  • Learn from child welfare peers around the country about policies and practices to support kinship families
  • Connect with peers who can help you resolve any challenges you face with your kinship care work
  • Learn about the latest research, federal policy opportunities, and other national resources to support your work

How do I join?

If you work in a state, county, regional or local public child welfare agency and are primarily responsible for policy and practice improvements in kinship care, please join by clicking this link: https://forms.gle/DGBuuMyf6oMSwQVR9 or emailing Tiffany Allen at tiffany@childfocuspartners.com.
